Connie Mullen, LM, ICEE

Connie Mullen, ICCE, has been a childbirth professional for over twelve years. She is a Licensed Midwife, a certified childbirth educator through ICEA and has certificates as a childbirth assistant, breastfeeding specialist and fitness specialist.

As a Midwife, Connie has received her training at the South Florida School of Midwifery and The National School of Technology. She has attended over 350 births in Florida and Jamaica in the home, birth center and hospital sittings.

Connie is very active in the community, working with crisis pregnancy centers, teen outreach and women and couples who seek alternative childbirth information. she has also given many lectures and presentations at healthfairs and seminars, written several articles and trains other chilbirth educators.

In the past, she has directed a support group for new moms, helped to organize outreach childbirth education in the Broward county school system and organized and taught a prenatal/postnatal exercise program.

Connie is or has been a member of ICEA, Florida Coalition of Childbirth Educators, DONA, and Healthy Mothers/Healthy Babies Coalition amoung others.

Currently, Connie offers group childbirth classes, private childbirth classes, refresher classes, labor support in hospitals, prenatal care for home births of birth center births and is available for speaking engagements.
