This plat represents Entry no. 15 in the office of Entry Taker of Chowan County ,North Carolina made October 4th 1886 and surveyed under order of County Commissioners made November 7th 1887 containing 38 acres bounded as followeth Beginning in Elisha Burkes Line 52 ½  chains from a blown down oak at corner of Ben Small’s patent runnind the line of Small  S 77 E 24 ½ chains to Bunches patent line the Shadrick Bunches line N 46 E 34 ½ chains to an oak at corner of Bunches and Julius Bunches patent then along Burks line  S 641/2 W 52 ½ chains  to beginning under my hand and seal December 12th 1887
