 Known all Men by these Presents, That we Fredrick Askew ,Jason Gregory, and John Pollock in the State aforesaid, are held and firmly bound unto the Justices assigned to keep the Peace ,within the County aforesaid, &c. in the just and full sum of two hundred & fifty pounds,current money of the State aforesaid ,to be paid to the said Justices, the survivor or survivors of them ,their executors or administrators , in trust for the benefit of the minor hereafter named ,committed to the tuition and care of the said Fredrick Askew .To which payment well and truly to be made ,we bind ourselves and each of us,and each and every of our heirs ,executors and adminstrators,jointly and severally,firmly by these presents.Sealed with our seals, and dated this 13 th day of July Anno Domini 1813.

The condition of the above obligation is such, that whereas the above bounden Fredrick Askew is constituted and appointed guardian to Amos Askew a minor: Now if the said Fredrick Askew shall faithfully execute the said guardianship, by securing and improving the estate of the said Amos Askew until he shall arrive at full age, or be sooner thereto required, and then render a plain and true account of his said guardianship, on oath before the Justices of the said County Court, and deliver up, pay to,or possess the said Amos of all such estate or estates as he ought to be possessed of ,or to such other Person or Persons as shall be lawfully empowered or authorised to receive the same ,and the profits arising therefrom ;then this obligation to be void ,otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
